  • First Round Judges score entries on a 1-9 scale
  • Second Round The provisional shortlisted entries are determined by the judges if they should be a short list, a potential winner, or an absolute winner, and only 10% of entries make it to this stage.
  • Final Round Overseen by the Jury president. Entries are voted on for Gold, Silver, or Bronze Lion winner. A ⅔ majority vote is needed to claim a lion, and 3% of entries get that far after voting.
  • Gold Lion winners are chosen to be candidates for Grand Prix.
